JNTUH University College of Engineering Sultanpur (JNTUH UCES) is one of the constituent engineering colleges of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH). Established in the Academic Year 2012–13, the college was founded with a vision to provide quality technical education and create opportunities for talented students from rural and semi-urban regions of Telangana. The college is located at Sultanpur Village, Pulkal Mandal, Sangareddy District, Telangana, approximately 20 km from Sangareddy and well connected by road from Hyderabad and surrounding areas. The campus is situated in a serene natural environment near the Singoor Dam, surrounded by lush green landscapes and agricultural fields, providing a peaceful and inspiring atmosphere for academic learning, innovation and research.

The institution began its academic journey in the Academic Year 2012–13 by offering regular B.Tech programmes in Civil Engineering (CE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), and Computer Science & Engineering (CSE). These programmes were introduced to fulfil the growing demand for quality engineering education and to encourage talented students from rural and semi-urban areas of Telangana. With continuous academic development and changing technological requirements, JNTUH University College of Engineering Sultanpur has expanded its undergraduate programmes by introducing B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering – Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (CSE–AI & ML) in the year 2023. This programme focuses on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics and Intelligent Systems, enabling students to acquire advanced technical skills and prepare for future technological challenges.

Further strengthening its focus on digital technologies and information security, the college introduced B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering – Cyber Security (CSE–CS) in the year 2024. The programme aims to develop skilled professionals with expertise in cyber security principles, secure computing practices and protection of digital infrastructure. The college has also introduced B.Tech Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) and B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering (Self Finance) programmes from the year 2025. These programmes provide additional opportunities for students aspiring to build careers in core engineering, computer science and information technology domains.

Along with undergraduate programmes, the college offers postgraduate programmes in advanced engineering specializations. The M.Tech programmes include Structural Engineering (CE–SE), Robotics & Artificial Intelligence (ME–R&AI), VLSI System Design (ECE–VLSI), and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (CSE–AI&DS). These programmes were introduced in the year 2022 with the objective of promoting advanced technical knowledge, research capabilities and innovation in emerging areas of engineering.

At present, JNTUH University College of Engineering Sultanpur offers undergraduate programmes in CE, ME, ECE, CSE, CSE-AI&ML, CSE - Cyber Security, EEE and CSE- (Self Finance) along with postgraduate programmes in SE, R&AI, VLSI System Design, and AI&DS. Through its diverse academic programmes, experienced faculty, modern laboratories and student-focused learning environment, JNTUH University College of Engineering Sultanpur continues to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, research and professional excellence, preparing students to meet the evolving needs of industry, higher education and society.
