Dr. G Narsimha

B.E(Electronics and Communication Engineering) from University College of Engineering(UCE), Osmania University, Hyderabad in the year 1996. M.Tech(Computer and Science Engineering) from University College of Engineering(UCE),Osmania University, Hyderabad in the year 1999. Ph.D.(Computer and Science Engineering) from University College of Engineering(UCE),Osmania University, Hyderabad in the year 2009.

Dr. Gugulothu Narsimha is a highly accomplished academic and researcher with a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (1996), M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (1999), and a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering (2009), all from University College of Engineering , Osmania University,Hyderabad. Currently serving as a Professor in CSE and Principal at JNTUH University College of Engineering Sultanpur, he brings 25 years of expertise in teaching, research, and administration across esteemed institutions such as JNTU-Kakinada and JNTU-Hyderabad, as well as private institutions.

His versatile roles include Placement Officer, Deputy Warden, Hostel Manager, Officer in charge of Examinations, Head of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, NSS Program Coordinator, Additional Controller for University examinations, and Vice Principal during his service in JNTU-Hyderabad and JNTU-Kakinada. Dr. Narsimha has actively contributed to ECET FDH and EAMCET as Coordinator and Regional Coordinator, Regional Coordinator for TSLRCT 2022 (Police Constable & SI Recruitment), served on JNTUH Fact-Finding Committee, and participated as an expert committee member for DST Project evaluations.

A dedicated mentor, he has successfully guided 33 Ph.D. research scholars, with 10 currently pursuing their research under his guidance. Dr. Narsimha received an outstanding reviewer award from Elsevier Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Journal in 2017. His involvement in professional organizations includes being a key member of IEEE, ACM, ISTE, and CSI. Dr.Narsimha received State Haritha Haram Award, Cerificate of Excellence as a NSS Coordinator from honourable Governor Dr.Tamilisai Soundararajan, Visista Seva Purskar, Best Citizen of India and Shiksha Ratan Puraskar awards for meritorious service.

Dr. Narsimha's research focus encompasses Network Security, Computer Networks, and Data Mining. He has an impressive publication record with 175 research articles in international conferences and renowned peer-reviewed journals, 78 of which are indexed in Clarivate Web of Science and 85 in Elsevier SCOPUS. Notably, he has been honored with best paper awards at ACM international conferences in Istanbul (2015 and 2018) and IEEE Conference in Agadir, Morocco (2017). Additionally, he holds four copyrights granted by ACM, USA for his research publications.

His research interest includes Network Security, Computer Networks, and Data Mining. To date, he has published 153 quality research articles in several international conferences and renowned peer reviewed International journals with good impact factor. 60 research articles were indexed in Clarivate Web of Science and 65 articles indexed in Elsevier SCOPUS. He has received the best paper award from ACM international conferences in Istanbul, Turkey in 2015 and 2018, and IEEE Conference at Agadir, Morocco in the year 2017. He is holding 4 copyrights granted by ACM, USA for his research publications.

One of his notable achievements includes successfully undertaking and executing a DST-funded research project with a financial outlay of 25 lakhs, titled "Enhancing Security in Mobile Adhoc Networks". Dr. Narsimha has also delivered keynote addresses on cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Cyber Security, and Internet of Things at various international symposiums and conferences.
